I have a strong desire to start my own business, and although I know exactly where my strengths lie, I don't know what to do. Are there any books about which might help me put my thoughts together and come up with a quality business proposition?
I've been recommended a book named 'Blue Ocean Strategy', has anyone read this and is it any good?
Yes. Blue Ocean Strategy is a great read for starting to think with originality. But remember: ideas dont make businesses - markets make businesses. You could have the best idea in the world, but if no-one wants to buy it then you wont have a business.
