I am fed-up of my current work as sales man of heavy equipment, and I would like to start a business of my own?
I have no idea what to do exactly ? and I have no much money to invest.
you please suggest me something that required low budget ( up to $8000 ) and could generate a good income.
If you’re good, break out on your own and setup shop selling heavy equipment. Sales is the backbone of any business and none can thrive without it. If you’re consistently a top producer then it’s your show and it’s only a matter of time before you break out to do this. However, if you’re mediocre and usually somewhere in the middle, think twice. You’re talking about doubling your workload to go out on your own, then doubling it AGAIN to run the company. It takes a unique individual to do this and you have to be so driven to succeed that nothing else matters. Nothing. You also need a good support structure around you and must be prepared to carry yourself and the business for about a year financially before you can hope to make profits. If this doesn’t scare you then go for it! If it makes you nervous, proceed slowly. Hope that helps.

YEARS as an entrepreneur and my last venture was sold to a Nasdaq firm. THIS advice will only cost you 10 points! (smile) And it will probably save you a lot of money.
Talk to the art students at the local high schools and colleges. Offer to sell their art work thru your company and split the profits 50-50 with them. That means that your inventory costs are zero in the beginning..
