Is now the time to start a new business venture?

I just got laid off from my rent a cop job at the Walmart in Yuma AZ. They say you should start a business that you are "passionate" about.
I have always enjoyed hanging out at glory holes. I am thinking would a coin operated glory hole franchise in the Yuma area be profitable?

The first rule of starting any new business = identify your market.
You must first determine is there is a market and who will pay you.
